Talbir Bains Joins DUAL Group As Global Chief Underwriting Officer

Talbir Bains joins DUAL Group as Global Chief Underwriting Officer with responsibility for management of capital and carrier relations and maintaining underwriting control and governance.

Prior to joining DUAL, Talbir worked in a number of senior roles during thirteen years at QBE European Operations, most recently as Director of Motor and Business Performance (Retail). As well as driving profitable growth in the QBE Motor account, Talbir was responsible for overseeing business planning, underwriting performance and actuarial pricing across all of QBE's Retail P&C business. He also led and executed the placement and transformational restructure in recent years of the reinsurance treaties across QBE EO's Retail & International Markets P&C business, chairing both the Reinsurance and Retail Pricing Committees.

In conjunction with his CUO role, Talbir will be appointed to the DUAL International Board and will be a member of DUAL’s Risk Committee and Chair of the Underwriting Committee.
